Spring greetings Tree Tribe!

Welcome to my first newsletter of the year. I hope it finds you healthy and happy.

FINALLY, I think we can say Spring is here and with this new season, we have so many NEW offerings at the Tree!

5 New classes,  3 workshops and a Summer retreat!

Beginning Wednesdays from 18th April:

Gentle Hatha with Donna 9.15-10.30am

This class is suitable for all, especially newbies to yoga and anyone recovering from illness or injury

Stillness within Flow with Kerry-Ann 10.45-12pm

“Being present within our flow of life and taking time to simply be can often be a daily challenge. Movement with present awareness can feel magic and stillness like bliss”

Join Kerry-Ann for a unique exploration of free flowing mindful movement, hatha flow and yin yoga...a blissful embodiment of stillness within flow- of the truth within you

Pregnancy Yoga with Jacqui Longley   6.30-8pm

We warmly welcome former midwife and Pregnancy Yoga teacher, Jacqui Longley to the teacher tribe. Pregnancy Yoga has become increasingly popular and to meet demand, this new class has begun to support local ladies through this life-changing experience.

NEW Post-Natal Yoga course starts 4th May TUESDAYS 10.45-12pm with Victoria

Continuing the yoga journey with post-natal yoga. This course will nurture new mothers, allowing space and time for healing and re-building strength gradually and safely. This is a wonderful opportunity to bond with your baby, meet others mums and share experiences. The exercises are carefully designed to build strength in the pelvic floor and core safely. Most importantly, it will give you time to stretch and release the tensions of early motherhood and allow you time to breathe deeply and relax body and mind. We also learn how to check for diastasis recti and how to repair it using subtle but powerful exercises.

SOOTHING SUNDAY YIN YOGA with Donna 7.30-8.45pm

Experience the peaceful and soul-nourishing practice of Yin Yoga - longer holds and deeper stretches with an emphasis on relaxing muscular tissue and fascia. Each class will close with a deep relaxation to promote an undisturbed sleep. The perfect way to end the week!

This practice is accessible to everyone. With the use of props you can enjoy a safe and relaxing practice with many physical and healing benefits.


Childbirth Preparation with Hypnobirthing course

Saturday 28th April with Victoria. Room for one more couple!

Shakti Sundays – Women’s Wellness Monthly Yoga Circles     1-3pm

6th May       20th May         17th June          15th July

A warm invitation to all women to join a monthly mini retreat; 2 hours of a nurturing circle space, enjoying embodied Yoga practices, meditation and mindful living practices that align and bring balance within your cycles of life ~ nurturing your unique feminine essence. Suitable for all women at any stage of their cyclical lives, including those that are beyond their menstruation years. May appeal to women who are seeking reconnection, self love and self-awareness; a more balanced vitality and mindful way of living with their inner rhythms / unique cyclical nature, and those with cyclical / menstruation health conditions. Begins Sunday May 6th 1-3pm. Kerry-Ann of YouYoga is a Qualified Yoga Therapist for Womens Wellness. £15 includes some yummy treats

Flower Essences Workshop with Helen Leece

May 13th 1-3.30pm £35

Flower essence are supportive and safe to use for adults, children and animals. Plant Whisperer & Ayurvedic consultant Helen Leece from the Gathering Fields, will be holding space here with an introduction to the “Alchemy of Plants and Flower essences” Explore the intuitive soul medicine of Flower essences and discover how they can support you in your daily life. Flower essences are subtle and gentle, so if you are seeking a new way to approach challenges in your life, flower essences may be waiting to communicate with you.

What to expect : * Introduction to Dr Bach 38 remedies, the history and how they help * Guided essence meditation * Intuitive flower selection using dowsing * Make your own simple essence to take home ( £8 extra if you wish to take your remedy away )

The Gathering Fields Yoga Retreat with Victoria and Martin 6th-8th July

Join Martin and Victoria for this unique and nourishing Yoga in Nature retreat!

We invite you to unplug and immerse yourself in the peaceful surrounding of the Gathering Fields in Lancashire. This weekend is dedicated to re-connecting with Mother Earth and returning to your true, playful nature!

The venue boasts a beautiful indoor barn and outside space for yoga and we will be surrounded by open countryside, magical woodlands and 9 acres of wild flower gardens.

The retreat  includes:

4 (morning and evening) yoga practises

Forage walk and nature meditation

Partner and Acro Yoga

A unique and bonkers blend of Axe-throwing, Archery and Catapulting

Campfire gatherings and ceremony

and of course time for to explore the gathering fields for yourself and space for self-reflection

All your meals are catered for over the weekend and lovingly cooked by the owners of the farm. Helen who has been a holistic therapist for 23 years and specialises as an Ayurvedic practitioner and Yoga teacher, believes that being in touch with nature and the seasons is the key to restoring our health. Their vegetables and herbs are grown bio dynamically (planted by the phases of the moon). Helen has over 50 herbal plant varieties which she uses to make her own tea infusions, potions and lotions!
